Site info for neevita.net v2.0

The Neevita site is the product of about 14 years of work. I have been online in one form or another since 1989, and on the web since 1995. For many of those 14 years, I coded my sites by hand in pico – which I still, and probably always will, adore in some primitive way.

However, even being in the industry at the time, when my site (phuqed.org back then) reached over 2000 pages, something had to give. With simple php/css and menu includes hacked together to ease the pain of my frequent redesigns (and having to update said ~2000 pages by hand or with tiny search/replace scripts), having fun with it was continuing to get less and less.. well, fun.

I was ready for a CMS.  I chose Drupal. Much of the content here has made a migration from my other sites: notapplicable.info, fakehair.net, and zitatheaerialist.com, through the abilities I inherited by playing with it. However, 4 years of many uh.. “administrative challenges” later, it was time for a rebirth. Thankfully, I’m good at rebirth.
