Glad you enjoyed the cruise for the most part. My partner and I did a Royal Caribbean cruise over our birthdays in August of `08. I didn’t know what to expect, and I think I was pleasantly surprised. I think I wanted something a little more adventurous, like touring Europe or Asia or some shit like that. In the end, it wound up that what I really needed to do was go somewhere to be an 80-year-old man and relax. Well, it wasn’t all pants-shitting and yelling at whippersnappers, but it was pretty predictable and coordinated. It has its merits.

You probably got a lot of this already: If you do another cruise, try a different line. We really dug RC.

Nice! The food/Sysco paragraph was of particular interest. I agree with you on that…I’ve totally stopped eating processed foods of the sort sysco foists upon the sheeple, so when I have no choice I really can feel it too. How do people live on that?

Anyway, my condolences on Norda again as well. It’s never pleasant when one loses a creature that is dear. :(

Thanks for the write-up. It sounds….pretty much how I would have imagined it. I’m surprised you liked it as much as it sounds like you did quite frankly :)
